MEET MAGGI
Maggi Apel is the founder of The Good Energy Collective, where she creates experiences that help women reconnect with themselves and explore what they want more of in the next season of life. After more than two decades in Wilmington, North Carolina, and a career in media, marketing, and community building, she brings people together with warmth, curiosity, and a gift for making meaningful conversations feel natural.
Maggi believes that setting aside intentional time to reflect can open the door to new ideas, renewed energy, and a clearer sense of what matters. Her approach blends thoughtful questions, shared experiences, and genuine connection—always leaving room for a little fun along the way.
She hopes every woman leaves Costa Rica feeling more connected to who she is, more confident in what she wants, and curious about what she might choose next.
MEET LILLY
Lilly Sevilla is a Costa Rican educator, leader and coach with more than three decades of experience helping people recognize their strengths, discover possibilities and grow with confidence. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with women as colleagues, educators, leaders and emerging professionals, creating opportunities for them to find their voice, expand their possibilities and recognize the value of what they bring.
Her approach is grounded in deep listening, curiosity and a genuine appreciation for the uniqueness of every person. She believes there is something powerful in being truly seen and valued and in creating the space to recognize, appreciate and trust ourselves.
Her hope is that every woman leaves Costa Rica renewed and in awe of herself: more aware of all she already is, confident in what she brings to the world, and inspired to dream about what else might be possible.
How We Found Each Other
Neither of us knew that saying yes to Erickson Coaching International would bring us together. We enrolled separately, each hoping to bring new tools and perspective into our work. Before long, conversations beyond the course revealed how closely our values, vision, and creativity aligned. That connection grew into a collaboration—and the idea for this retreat.
Looking back, one decision opened a door neither of us expected. Now we’re saying yes to the possibility of creating something meaningful together. We hope this experience encourages other women to trust themselves, explore what matters to them, and make room for a life that feels like their own.
